With Areco's comprehensive software Supersnow, you have full control over your resort. The software monitors and controls the production of snow day and night, throughout the entire season. On lucid maps you can see the condition of each component - regardless if it's a snow gun, a pump facility or a single valve.

Planning and resource management

A manual system means is time consuming and costly every time the snow production stops. Staff have to manually stop the pumps, drain and empty pipes and snow guns. The converse also applies when the snow production needs to start again - it takes time up and resources. With an automated system both start and stop are done without manual work and loss of time.

Thanks to the overview that Areco's comprehensive software Supersnow can provide, the person monitoring the system can quickly redirect personnel to move a gun or take care of emergencies.

Safety

An automated system is much safer from freezing than a manual. An important rule of thumb is that water should never be standing still unless it is freeze-free depth. With a manual system, the staff has to go around to stop pumps, drain and empty the pipes and snow cannons. There is also a risk that something might freeze and even break before reaching that detail on the system. With Areco automatic system, drainage occurs automatically everywhere.

This automated operation also decreases the risks of injury to staff that would otherwise have to travel and work at night in darkness to make manual adjustments.

Statistics

With the overall software Areco Supersnow you will have access to extensive and comprehensive statistics. Here you can see, for example, how many cubic meters of snow that has been manufactured, water consumption per cubic meter of snow and energy consumption per cubic meter of snow. You can either read out total volumes, or separate sections, slopes and snow guns. For each components Supersnow saves all data. This gives you access to data that allows you to learn to use and manage your resort resources more efficiently.

You can for example get answers to questions such as, at what temperatures is it optimal for us to produce snow? How long does it take to cover a particular slope in snow? What are the costs imposed on certain conditions? Supersnow offers an effective tool for resource planning and optimization.
