It goes without saying that guaranteed snow at the season start is incredibly important. And if you can bring forward the opening day, you can gain tremendous financial advantages. With Areco's long experience in producing snow at marginal temperatures you can gain these additional snow days that not only get your cash tills ringing, they also give your venue's reputation a big boost.

Profitable at mild temperatures
As a rule, making snow at mild temperatures (above +2,7° C) has not been economically viable. However, with Areco's fan guns the upper temperature limit for commercial snow making is higher. Our fan guns are optimized to make large quantities of snow of high quality at marginal temperatures. The unique design of the drum and nozzles plus finely tuned water regulation mean that the water flow is exactly right for producing high quality snow economically even at marginal temperatures.
Automatically better snow, and more of it
Automating your fan guns and facilities means you can effectively take advantage of those hours during the pre-season that are best suited to snow production. The weather stations mounted on Areco fan guns automatically detect when it is time to produce snow. Which is a huge time saver for your staff, who no longer have to make their way to every cannon to start, adjust and stop production. In many cases it does not pay to start producing snow in short cold snaps - you simply have to wait for longer periods of consistent cold.
